Ahmadinejad, Madman, Monster or Misunderstood?

The recent visit to the United States by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad resulted in the inevitable media frenzy condemning the apparent self confessed holocaust denier, tyrant & all round bad guy.

Having replaced Osama Bin Laden as the US Governments face of evil, the mainstream media went into overdrive at news of an invitation by Columbia University to host Ahmadinejad as a guest speaker.

The New York Daily News’s led the impartiality with headline “The evil has landed”, with other media outlets rehashing unproven accusations that Iran’s intent is to build a nuclear weapon & the infamous “Wipe Israel off the map” misquote.

The real story here, however is the blatant bias of the media to portray Ahmadinejad as Hitler’s evil cousin, a rabid Jew hater.

For instance, not one of the mainstream media outlets made mention of the fact that during his trip to New York Ahmadinejad met with local Jewish Rabbis.

The exceptional facet is not just that the media failed to report this meeting or that it took place at all, but the insightful quotes attributed to both parties.

The Rabbis carried a placard which read “I am Jewish not a Zionist”

A senior rabbi referred to the president as a person who made a distinction between Jews and Zionists

“You understand us and make a distinction between the violent behaviour of Zionists and the religious beliefs of Jews”

Ahmadinejad for his part stated:

“All the people in the world have now understood that Judaism is different from Zionism”

He added, “Zionists are a political group looking for taking advantage of the opportunities while Jews are the followers of the Moses who promoted peace and friendship.”

The media chooses to ignore such meetings and the context of Ahamdiejads words. Indeed anyone who dares to criticize the crimes and misdemeanors of the Zionist Israeli leadership or their Zionist backers is labeled an anti semitic.

The fact is, that such criticisms are not against the ordinary Jewish folk, God knows they suffer like their palestinian brothers at the hand of international Zionism.

Interestingly, the dangers of a Zionist “Conspiracy” is not a new phenomenon.

Britain’s larger-than-life wartime Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, believed that a group of “international Jews” was striving to take over the world. On February 8, 1920, the Illustrated Sunday Herald (published in London) ran an article by Churchill.

Its title: “Zionism Versus Bolshevism: A Struggle for the Soul of the Jewish People.”

“The conflict between good and evil which proceeds unceasingly in the breast of man nowhere reaches such an intensity as in the Jewish race. The dual nature of mankind is nowhere more strongly or more terribly exemplified…. It would almost seem as if the gospel of Christ and the gospel of Antichrist ware destined to originate among the same people; and that this mystic and mysterious race had been chosen for the supreme manifestations, both of the divine and the diabolical.”

The “International Jews” (today known as Zionists), were slammed as the terrorism and atheistic communism of “International Jews.”

Churchill didnt however slam all Jews, rather painted them as people of two extremes.

He wrote:

“In violent opposition to all this sphere of Jewish effort rise the schemes of the International Jews. The adherents of this sinister confederacy are mostly men reared up among the unhappy populations of countries where Jews are persecuted on account of their race.

Most, if not all, of them have forsaken the faith of their forefathers, and divorced from their minds all spiritual hopes of the next world. This movement among the Jews is not new. From the days of Spartacus-Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx, and down to Trotsky (Russia), Bela Kun (Hungary), Rosa Luxembourg (Germany), and Emma Goldman (United States), this world-wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilization and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality, has been steadily growing.

It played, as a modern writer, Mrs. Webster, has so ably shown, a definitely recognizable part in the tragedy of the French Revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the Nineteenth Century; and now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire.”

Terrorist Jews

“There is no need to exaggerate the part played in the creation of Bolshevism and In the
actual bringing about of the Russian Revolution, by these international and for the most
part atheistical Jews, it is certainly a very great one; it probably outweighs all others.

Of course the media would prefer that you did not know Churchill believed in an “Zionist Jewish Conspiracy”.

Finally, the BBC in 2006 reported on the 25,000 Jews who live quite happily in Iran. Rather than fearing for their lives from Jew hating Islamic government, they live side by side, attending synagogue and even have one representative in the Iranian parliament.

As a recognised religious minority group the Iranian Jews are protected.

Ahmadinejad’s office even went as far as to donate money to Tehran’s Jewish Hospital. “It is one of only four Jewish hospitals worldwide and is funded with money from the Jewish diaspora – something remarkable in Iran where even local aid organisations have difficulty receiving funds from abroad for fear of being accused of being foreign agents.” – BBC

Making Myspace Look Less Crap

Better still why dont you sit in the corner, suck your thumb & dream how you wanna achieve one of the following:

A) Be just like Paris Hilton
B)(For the guys) how much you wanna screw Paris Hilton
C) How you wish you had the IQ of Paris

PS – In keeping with myspace bulletin tradition you must repost this to 15 Billion friends within the next 2 minutes or you will be cursed genital warts……;-)

Oh to add, please use a decent web browser (***Cough Firefox Cough***), that means not Internet Explorer…
I purposely avoided joining Myspace for over 4 years, partly because I could do without
my inbox filling up with requests from bimbo’s wanting me to view them naked – how kind.

The main reason, however, was that browsing the site was like a nightmare throwback to
the early 90’s & NO I am not talking about bad hair, Kris Kross (Tha Mack Daddy will make ya jump – Hmmm) & the Spice Girls.

MySpace was & still is any competent web developers nightmare, in fact I challenge anyone not to get frankly pissed with constant side scrolling, bad graphics & flashing
backgrounds as shown in the example below:
Let me hypnotise you with some crappy flashing graphics

If I joined Myspace I wanted my page to be half way decent, ie, no sideward scrolls,
flashing backgrounds or bad graphics, of course my friend CSS would be here to help.

Little did I know that in many ways myspace is as bad under the hood as it is visually.

I consider myself a semi-veteren of web design, but getting under the hood of myspace code will make you pull ya hair out, in fact the constant fighting to get a tight feel using
custom CSS almost made me give up.

Fortunatley, I found a decent tutorial Mike Industries who had previously suffered & conquered the beast of myspace.

Using his released SourceCode – download here as a base made the job a whole lot eaiser,
in fact it was someone of a pleasure to overcome myspace devil code.

As you will see my redesign it is not major surgery, I wanted the structure of myspace to remain the same, but it is a major improvement, both visually & under the hood.

If you want a consistent layout but want something visually different then I’d suggest
using one of the div overlays listed on mashable.com.
